I hope this letter finds you well. Time seems to fly this time of year- we are already half-way through the second marking period. With the holidays quickly approaching it is sometimes difficult for students to stay focused on school. Be sure to encourage your child to get enough rest and to continue to do their best work at school!
Mr. Daulbaugh is making progress following his accident over the summer. While he had hoped to be back in the district by now, he still needs time to recuperate. I will update everyone periodically on his progress and will serve as the acting Superintendent until Mr. Daulbaugh returns. I know that he appreciates your positive thoughts and warm wishes as he continues his recovery.
As you have some time this weekend don’t forget to check out our new additions to the Staff Spotlight. This link will take you to the current honorees as well as staff recognized in previous weeks.
Please remember that the district schools will be closed next Wednesday 11/24 thru Friday 11/26 for Thanksgiving break.
Thank you all for your support of our students and schools. These past few months have been challenging with the continued impact of Covid on all of us. On behalf of the Streetsboro City Schools staff I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
