Welcome Back to Another Exciting School Year!
The Food Service Department is eager to make the Breakfast and Lunch periods a fun and stress-free time for our students. Every building offers Breakfast and Lunch to their students and adults.
We follow federal guidelines as to what we serve on our Type A breakfast and lunch trays. We are going to offer several new items on breakfast and lunch trays this school year.
Every building has an a la carte area. The K-3 building offers the least but they have choices of some ice cream items, which they love. We often remind the students that they cannot purchase an a la carte item if they have no money on their lunch account.

Our Directors are certified in the National ServSafe Program. All members of the Food Service team are certified as Person-In-Charge/Serving Safe Food. The Food Service team has several hours of training.
All schools in the State of Ohio have Unpaid Meal Charge policies. Our Board desires to allow
children to receive the nutrition they need to stay focused during the school day, minimize identification of children with insufficient funds to pay for school meals and maintain the financial integrity of the District’s Food Service account.
We realize that circumstances happen within a family. We do allow students to charge up to a negative balance of $15.00. Parents will be contacted by the District and will be expected to pay the balance. It is the parents’ responsibility to see that their child has food for lunch. They can bring a lunch from home or they can purchase in our lunch program.
We are looking forward to another new year with the students and want to make it an enjoyable
experience for your children.
