We’re excited to have you meet Dan Stitzel, an ELA teacher at Streetsboro Middle School, and one of our District Technology Coaches. Here’s more about Dan:

My journey in the educational world started at Bowling Green State University where I graduated with a degree in Middle Childhood Education with a content focus of Language Arts and Social Studies. Shortly after graduation in 2008, I was hired as a 7th grade ELA teacher at Streetsboro Middle School.  Over the last nine years, I have worked as a 5th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade language arts teacher in the Streetsboro City Schools.

While working in Streetsboro, I have also had the opportunity to coach middle school cross country and track, work as the Middle School Athletic’s Faculty Manager, and be a member of the district technology committee.  I recently became a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, and I am currently working on becoming a Google Certified Trainer. I am also currently working with the ODE to develop a model curriculum for the state’s instructional technology standards.
