After graduating, Mr. Bryan moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he spent a number of years as a teacher and administrator for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. While in North Carolina, he completed his master’s degree in school administration from Gardner-Webb University as well earning his National Board Certification in adolescent education.

Before becoming principal at Henry Defer Intermediate School, Mr. Bryan had been an administrator in Maple Heights City Schools and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District since he has been back in Ohio. Additionally, Mr. Bryan recently completed the First Ring Leadership Academy and is currently completing his superintendent’s license from Ashland University.

Mr. Bryan lives in Twinsburg with his wife Erin, who is a 5th grade teacher for the Kenston Local School District. Together they have two sons: Landon, 4, and Dylan 2. They also have a Goldendoodle named Lacey which completes their family.
