Good afternoon Streetsboro Families,

I hope this message finds everyone well and preparing for a nice and relaxing holiday weekend with your family. As you know, Governor DeWine finally released guidelines for the opening of school in the fall, and we’d like to share what we know.

His overarching theme was one of local control and all students returning to the classrooms in the fall. Using this guidance, along with the survey data collected from parents and staff, we plan to move forward finalizing our plans for a return to school in the fall.

The goal is to keep our students and staff as safe as possible while continuing to provide a top quality education.

This plan will be a significant challenge; one that will likely not please everyone. However, we will do our best to create a menu of options in order to give families some choices regarding school in the fall. If you haven’t taken the time to fill out the survey, please do so as soon as possible.

As we face these overwhelming, unprecedented times, it is important to remember that we must work together in order to keep our students, families and staff safe. It is my hope that all of you have a relaxing and safe summer.

Go Rockets!
