We have worked hard over the past few days to make sure the routing information is as accurate as it can be. However, making it all work is much like a complicated puzzle, and we want the first few days of school to go as smoothly as possible.

Most routes are staying the same, or very close to being the same. Most, if not all bus stops are the same as well. For those students moving from one grade to the next, the split is between 5th grade and 6th grade in terms of timing. Middle school and high school picks up a bit earlier than the elementary schools.

We’re planning to have more exact bus stop information and times for you this Friday, but again, want to spend the time it takes to get it right.

That being said, here are the approximate pickup ranges for our four buildings:

  • Streetsboro High School picks up between 6:30 AM – 7:10 AM
  • Streetsboro Middle School picks up between 6:30 AM – 7:10 AM

Both middle and high school aim to drop off the students around 7:15 AM at each school. Once empty, each bus goes on to pickup a group of elementary students.

New for this year – both middle and high school ends at 2:25 PM, and depart on our buses around 2:30 PM. Once all the kids are home, those same buses return to pickup the elementary school kids a little after 3 PM.

The elementary schools pickup schedules are:

  • Henry Defer Intermediate picks up between 7:30 AM – 8:15 AM
  • Streetsboro Elementary School picks up between 7:30 AM – 8:15 AM

Both elementary buildings aim to drop the students off around 8:15 AM at each school. And in the afternoon, they will be transported home beginning a little after 3 PM. The approximate time for elementary school kids to get home is between 3:15 PM – 4:00 PM.

We ask for your patience to get it right, and your support in making sure all the kids get where they need to go. Safety takes time, and we’d rather spend a few more minutes making sure we’re picking up and dropping off your kids in the right place.

As a last reminder, we will communicate more exact bus stop locations and times later this week. Please refrain from calling our Transportation office in the meantime as we’re busy making the routes as good as they can get. We appreciate your support!

Thank you, and GO ROCKETS!
