Parents/Guardians/Community Members:

February is the shortest month, but sometimes feels like the longest., however the winter has been fairly mild.

As students return to the routine of school, we are doing our best to engage students, remind them of their academic goals and that Spring Break will be here before they know it.

In the meantime, we have a good deal of academic work to do to prepare for this spring’s testing season.  In only 46 more school days, our sophomores will take their English end of course exams. In only fifty school days, our juniors will be sitting for the SAT.  Anything we can do to encourage students to work toward these dates will help prepare them for their exams.

Please make sure you are updating the Attendance office for absences as well as tardies.

If you ever have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us – SHS Main Office, (330)626-4902 – or email, Mr. Hogue,, or Ms. Taylor,

Thank you,

James Hogue           Julie Taylor
