Streetsboro to celebrate“Total Eclipse in the Park”

Travel back to 1806, the last time Ohio witnessed a total solar eclipse…

The City of Streetsboro is geared up for a “Total Eclipse in the Park” with a celebration scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024, from 11 am-4 pm at Streetsboro City Park- 8970 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro.

The maximum totality is estimated at 3:15 p.m. EDT, with complete darkness for about 4 minutes.

Streetsboro City Schools will be closed to students that day, and staff will be assigned to homes for remote collaborative work.
