I would like to take this time to wholeheartedly thank everyone for supporting our 9 mill operating levy. This was a huge decision that not only benefits our students but our community as a whole. Preserving strong schools equals a strong community!
Tomorrow Streetsboro voters will be asked to make a decision regarding Issue 6 and whether or not to approve a 9 mill, five year, limited operating levy that will generate $4.4 million dollars a year. This is perhaps one of the most pivotal decisions to be made in the recent history of our school district.
The Streetsboro City School District Board of Education will hold its regular May meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Henry Defer Intermediate School cafeteria, located at 1895 Annalane Drive, Streetsboro, Ohio, 44241.
This 2-hour musical theatre show features 30 minutes of fast-paced dialogue and 60 memorable songs from the biggest artists of 1954-1963 performed by a live band, including a full rhythm section, “doo-wop” singers, and a 12-piece horn section. Through these classic songs, the show tells the stories of fictional teens, their parents, and a generation.
Join us for a night for parents, guardians, and the Portage County community. Two times and locations are available – see attached schedule.
This is event is shaping up to be a wonderful evening full of great music provided by our hardworking SMS & SHS Jazz Band students, a wonderful italian style dinner, and fantastic prizes and raffle baskets!
