Streetsboro City Schools is proud to share outstanding results from the latest Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) Report Card, marking several district and building-level achievements.
🏫 District Highlights
4 Stars in Achievement — for the first time in district history.
Ranked 10th in Ohio for most improved Performance Index (PI) score over the past two years.
Achieved the 16th best Value-Added composite score statewide over a three-year period and 12th best for the 2024–25 school year.
One of only 46 districts in Ohio to earn a 5-Star rating in both Gap Closing and Progress categories.
📈 Building Highlights
Streetsboro Elementary School: Improved by ½ star overall, showing strong gains in MAP Growth.
Henry Defer Intermediate School: Earned 5 stars—a first in district history—with a full-star increase from last year.
Streetsboro Middle School: Improved by ½ star and will receive the Momentum Award from ODEW for the second consecutive year.
Streetsboro High School: Increased Graduation Rate and College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness (CCWMR) star ratings (reflected on next year’s report card due to a one-year data delay).
🌠 Regional Recognition
Streetsboro is among the Top 10 “5-Star” Value-Added Districts in Northeast Ohio, ranking alongside Solon, Hudson, Mayfield, and Aurora City Schools.
Value-Added measures how much academic growth students make in a year, highlighting the district’s effectiveness in supporting all learners.
