Streetsboro City Schools is proud to announce that Streetsboro High School’s own Bryce Rentschler has been selected as a Portage County Senior of the Month for December—a well-deserved honor that highlights his exceptional academic performance, leadership, and commitment to our school community.
Bryce is a standout student who has maintained Honor Roll status throughout all four years of high school. His dedication to academic excellence is further reflected through high scores on AP U.S. History and AP Government, and his continued pursuit of rigorous coursework with four AP classes this year.
Beyond the classroom, Bryce is an engaged and influential leader at SHS. He serves as a Link Crew leader, supporting underclassmen and strengthening our school culture. As a mentor at 88.9 FM The Alternation, Bryce plays a key role in welcoming new members and promoting diversity and inclusion within the station. He also contributes to the International Cultures Club, where he manages social media, helps plan activities, and recruits new members.
Bryce’s commitment to service extends into the community as he represents SHS at events, including local sports coverage through the radio station. All the while, he balances school, leadership roles, and a part-time job at Canes with maturity and responsibility.
Looking ahead, Bryce plans to pursue a health-related major in college, while continuing to explore his interests in art, history, and building Legos.
The district extends its congratulations to Bryce on this outstanding honor, a recognition that reflects the very best of Streetsboro High School and underscores the pride the Rocket community has in his achievements.
