Twenty-four Streetsboro Middle School (SMS) students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on April 7, earning recognition for their academic excellence and commitment to leadership, service and citizenship.

Newly inducted members of the National Junior Honor Society at Streetsboro Middle School gathered for a commemorative photo following their induction ceremony.

“We are pleased to recognize the outstanding achievements of our students in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship,” said SMS Principal Lee Weppler. “This represents a significant accomplishment for those students, and we are grateful to be part of the National Junior Honor Society. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our NJHS Advisor, Natalie Ekron, for her dedicated time and commitment to supporting our students.”

The new inductees are: Abigail Donnelly, Bella Mia Dottore, Jayden Folczynski, Emerie Jackson, James Nagle, Connor Buckley, Olivia Callahan, Raveen Dhillon, Brayden Gollate, Anna Granillo, Patton Grenfall, Alivia Hanna, Leelee Hejduk, Maliyah Hughes, Desirae Jackson, Laken Kurtzman, Matthew Mohr, Alyssa Parker, Savannah Plicka, Isabella Rossman, Emma Trimmer, Brooke Trimmer, Tori Tyler and Kendal Zakrajsek.

The ceremony was attended by family members and staff who came to celebrate the students' hard work and dedication. Streetsboro City Schools congratulates all of the new inductees on this well-deserved honor.
