Streetsboro City Schools is proud to announce that Streetsboro High School Assistant Principal Jeff Papesh has been named the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) Zone 7 High School Assistant Principal of the Year for 2026.
The prestigious recognition honors outstanding secondary school leaders from across Ohio who demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication to students and commitment to their school communities. Nominations were submitted by students, staff members, administrators and colleagues throughout the state.
Papesh was selected as the Zone 7 winner by the OASSA Board of Directors and now advances as a finalist in the statewide selection process. Later this year, OASSA will announce the overall state winners from among the zone honorees.
“Mr. Papesh is an outstanding leader who consistently puts students first and works tirelessly to support both our students and staff,” said Superintendent Cindy Deevers, Streetsboro City Schools. “This recognition is a reflection of his dedication, professionalism and the positive impact he makes every day at Streetsboro High School. We are incredibly proud of him.”
As assistant principal at Streetsboro High School, Papesh has played an important role in fostering a positive school culture, supporting student achievement and building strong relationships throughout the school community.
All OASSA Zone Winners will be formally recognized during the OASSA Fall Conference in October.
