Streetsboro families kicked off the new school year with food, activities and plenty of Rocket spirit during the Streetsboro PTA’s 15th Annual Tailgate Party on August 28 at Streetsboro High School.

The annual event brought students, families and community members together for an evening designed to celebrate the start of the school year and strengthen connections across the Streetsboro community.

Guests enjoyed a variety of activities and attractions throughout the evening, including raffle baskets, community tables, spirit wear and opportunities to learn more about the Streetsboro PTA and become a member.

Streetsboro students also helped bring Rocket spirit to the celebration. The Streetsboro marching band and cheerleaders participated in the festivities, while Hubie, the district’s mascot, made an appearance. WSTB Radio was also on hand as part of the evening.

Families had several food options available from Rolling in the Dough, The Frosty Gator and Cleveland Street Food.

Now in its 15th year, the PTA Tailgate Party has become a back-to-school tradition that gives families from throughout the district an opportunity to gather, reconnect and celebrate their schools.

The Streetsboro PTA supports students, staff and families throughout the school year through programs, events and other initiatives across the district.
