The Streetsboro City Schools Board of Education held its reorganization meeting Tuesday, January 13, welcoming a new member and installing officers for 2026.
Kristina Mattmuller was sworn in as the board's newest member and Sara Scott was sworn into a new term. Tracy Campbell was elected board president and Tonia Epple was elected vice president for the coming year.
"We are excited to welcome Kristina Mattmuller to our Board of Education," said Superintendent Cindy Deevers. "Her fresh perspective will be valuable as we continue our work to provide excellent educational opportunities for our students.”
January is School Board Recognition Month, a time to honor the dedicated volunteers who serve their communities through school board service. Board members make critical decisions about curriculum, budgets, policies and district operations while balancing the needs of students, staff and the community.
"I want to thank all of our board members for their dedicated service to Streetsboro City Schools and their commitment to our students, staff and community," said Deevers. "Tracy, Tonia, Sara, Kelly and Kristina each bring unique strengths to our board, and their collaborative leadership benefits our entire district."
The full board now consists of Campbell, who serves through 2027; Epple, who serves through 2027; Mattmuller, who serves through 2029; Scott, who serves through 2029; and Kelly Rich, who serves through 2027.
The board meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month. Meeting schedules and agendas are available on the district website.
