The seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams took to the court to kick-off the second semester last week!

Since fiscal year 2021, Streetsboro City Schools has reduced operating expenses through eliminated or non retained positions. These reductions include salaries, benefits, medicare, and retirement contributions and have produced significant long term savings. These actions support stable district operations while protecting classroom instruction.

Welcome back, SES students! We eased into the new year practicing PAX routines like PAX Quiet, balanced with some silly fun. Our young Rockets are already working hard to build their stamina and academic work ethic.

Streetsboro Wellness Day: The School Based Health Center at Akron Children’s Hospital is holding a Wellness Day for all STREETSBORO CITY SCHOOL students on January 15, 2026. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Parents: a fire alarm was pulled by a preschooler at dismissal. There is NO emergency and students are in process of dismissal now.
Streetsboro City Schools is closed today, December 2nd, due to weather.
Bus 17 and Bus 21 are cancelled tomorrow, Oct 17, due to a staffing shortage. This is for morning and afternoon.
