Cheers and laughter filled the room as Ms. Johnston was “BOUNCED!” The latest staff member to be celebrated for her hard work and dedication at Streetsboro Middle School.

Her commitment to helping students and creating a positive school vibe keeps making a real difference. This fun, well-deserved moment was a little way to recognize everything she does for our school community.

Students and staff at Streetsboro Middle School are finishing up the school year with excitement and creativity through an A–Z Spirit Day countdown. Each day features a new theme based on a letter of the alphabet, giving everyone the chance to show off their school spirit in fun and unique ways.

Whether it's athletic wear, favorite team gear, wacky outfits, or coordinated class colors, the halls are buzzing with energy as students and staff join in. It's a great way to build community and celebrate together.

This shared experience has created some lasting memories and made counting down the final days of the school year a fun, positive vibe for everyone.

This week’s SHS band concert was a tremendous success and a true reflection of the talent, dedication, and pride within our music program. Our students delivered an outstanding performance, showcasing not only their musical growth but also their commitment to excellence.

We also took time to celebrate our senior band members, whose leadership, mentorship, and passion have played a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the program. They have set a strong example for our younger musicians and have helped build a culture that will continue to thrive for years to come.

Thank you to our staff, students, families, and community for your ongoing support of the arts at Streetsboro. It is clear that great things are happening, and we are excited for what lies ahead.

Fourth grade music classes celebrated National Poetry Month. Students found onomatopoeia in poems and chose musical instruments to represent the sounds.

Our PE teachers make physical education engaging and inclusive for all Streetsboro students! This National Physical Education Week, we appreciate how you promote healthy habits, teamwork, and active lifestyles that benefit our Rockets for years to come.

Our Streetsboro school libraries are more than just book collections! This School Library Month, we celebrate these vital learning spaces and our amazing librarians who inspire a lifelong love of reading in our students.

Get ready for some changes at SES!  We are using the money from our Bubble Run Fundraiser to transform our courtyard into a beautiful Butterfly Garden!  This space will include a learning area for students to practice observations and measurements, a classroom space for outdoor learning, and a habitat area for  butterflies.  We look forward to sharing our after photos!  Stay tuned!

These third grade students from Mrs. Baker's ELA classes have completed the 10 Book Challenge - and some of them have read 20 or 30! They got to have a special "lunch bunch" hang out at lunch time. Great job, readers!
