Students at Streetsboro Elementary School enjoyed a special Beach themed lunch of Baha fish tacos with island slaw, Hawaiian pizza, fresh strawberries, pasta salad and tropical fruit. Mr. Thomas and Mr. Jackson sported flamingo hats while serving up the tropical treats!

Our Pi Day celebration may have been a little late, but the excitement was right on time! Students eagerly lined up for the chance to pie a staff member, filling the room with laughter and energy. Mr. Weppler was definitely the most requested, making for some unforgettable (and messy!) moments. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate math and bring our school community together.

The third-graders, under the direction of Mrs. BethAnn Hepburn, put on an amazing Music show this week. Fans were wowed by the students’ performance and even got to participate in a Sweet Caroline sing-along. Thank you to Mr. Jim Boarding and the SHS production crew for an amazing stage setup. We’re really proud of their hard work and grateful for the packed house of families and friends supporting them.

Johnston's 7th grade math students competed against each other in an Integer Wars tournament bracket where the final four were treated to invite a friend to root them on and enjoy lunch while playing against each other to find the overall champion. Integer wars is a way to practice math fluency in a fun and engaging way with lots of laughs and the competition was tight!

Beginning in fiscal year 2023, Streetsboro City Schools launched a facility rental program and later a community concert series to generate alternative revenue without increasing the tax burden.
