Students in Mrs. Wolenski's and Ms. Johnston's math classes celebrated Pi Day by measuring circular objects to discover the relationship between diameter and circumference, bringing the constant value of pi to life in a hands-on way!
Congrats to our 6th, 7th and 8th grade badminton champions! Students competed in grade-level tournaments, showing off impressive skill, strategy and sportsmanship. Great job to all who participated!

3rd graders have been working on understanding area by estimating with tiles and then calculating the answer. What a great opportunity for our students to collaborate together with hands-on math activities!
Beginning in fiscal year 2023, Streetsboro City Schools launched a facility rental program and later a community concert series to generate alternative revenue without increasing the tax burden. These efforts have produced $234,000 in revenue while creating new opportunities for community engagement.

What a great night at the Festival of Bands! We are so proud of our Streetsboro High School band students for their outstanding performance, dedication and school pride. Thank you to our band directors, staff, families and supporters!
Congrats to our Streetsboro Wrestling State Qualifiers! Jarreau Walker (113), Johnny Bollinger (106) and Avery Conroy (175) all battled through a tough district tournament and have qualified for the OHSAA State Wrestling Championships in Columbus. Go Rockets!
6th grade STEM students designed, built and programmed mini sumo robots to battle it out on an arena board, detecting opponents with sensors and pushing them out of the ring. Engineering, coding and problem-solving in action!
Writing at SES gets a fun twist with 'Mystery PAX Leader'! One mystery student is selected, and if they make great choices and zero “spleems” by the end of class, everyone wins. Great job, Rockets!
SES Students enjoyed a fun Spirit Week. Last Wednesday was Wacky Hat Day. As you can see, we have a few friends with very similar senses of humor (and taste!) Crustaceans unite! We all had a great week!

Digital Photography students are learning camera settings and photo composition this semester with Mrs. Polly Dierkens.
Photographers have been exploring school grounds through the lenses of their digital Canon cameras. While working on posing and directing techniques, these classes -- comprised of students in all four grades -- also get to practice interpersonal communication. It benefits everyone involved to get out from behind their computers for fresh air and exercise (even in the cold!).
Mrs. Dierkens strives to help students appreciate at least the photographic value of Ohio's cold, fog and snow!

Through careful negotiation on every major purchase, the district reduced costs on essential items such as Chromebooks, software licenses, communication tools, and supplies. These savings accumulate year after year and reduce the district’s operational burden.
