Our 8th grade STEM students designed, built, and raced their own robot dragsters, exploring how gear ratios impact speed and torque along the way! The competition was fierce, and the engineering was impressive. Congrats to our race champions for taking the win!

Our 8th graders are bringing genetics to life by building their own "genetic monsters"! Using Punnett squares to determine traits, students are turning abstract concepts into creative, hands-on learning. 

Our Second Annual SES Bingo Night was a blast! The cafeteria was packed with kids and families enjoying snacks, laughter, and tons of fun. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Streetsboro students are diving into books today for Read Across America Day! Reading opens doors to new worlds and fuels imagination!

We're proud of our cheerleaders for earning 6th place at the OASSA State Championships! Competing against top programs across Ohio, they showed incredible athleticism, teamwork, and dedication. What an amazing season! 

Our music programs at Streetsboro inspire creativity and build confidence through band, choir, and instrumental education. This Music in Our Schools Month, we appreciate our talented music educators who bring harmony to our community!

Proud of our wrestlers for earning top Metro Athletic Conference honors, including three First Team selections and a MAC Wrestler of the Year! Congrats to these outstanding student-athletes on their hard work and dedication. 

Art 1 students are getting hands-on with paper mâché, building 3D letters and experimenting with form and volume, then adding color and mixed media to show off their creativity. Fun, messy & totally worth it!

Mrs. Spence was "bounced" in recognition of her incredible dedication to students and staff at SMS! Always going above and beyond, her positive impact is felt every single day. We appreciate you, Mrs. Spence!

8th graders earned a well-deserved pizza party after scoring an 8, 9, or 10 on their writing benchmark! Their dedication to revising and strengthening their craft truly paid off. We're so proud of these Rockets!

SES First Graders celebrated the 100th day of school by transforming into 100-year-old grannies and grandpas and we had a GREAT time!

Since fiscal year 2022, Streetsboro City Schools has aggressively pursued competitive grants to reduce the strain on local funds. Nearly 50 grant applications have supported essential district projects that would otherwise draw from general fund, permanent improvement, or other local accounts. These grants fund district-wide safety upgrades, technology improvements, transportation and equipment purchases, and student and academic support programs, reducing the burden on local taxpayers.
