Since fiscal year 2022, Streetsboro City Schools has aggressively pursued competitive grants to reduce the strain on local funds. Nearly 50 grant applications have supported essential district projects that would otherwise draw from general fund, permanent improvement, or other local accounts. These grants fund district-wide safety upgrades, technology improvements, transportation and equipment purchases, and student and academic support programs, reducing the burden on local taxpayers.

Grant funding has supported four major categories: Safety Upgrades, Technology Improvements, Transportation and Equipment, and Student and Academic Support Programs.
